Ms. Theresa you got me very scared when I read you kept the test then mom started laughing I guess I don't have to take them this year. But my teacher here is giving me homework it's easy right now. I have a spelling test tomorrow. Thank you'll for the package it's like Christmas when I hear from my friends at St Edward's the staff here at Target House say my room is so cute I post all my cards on the wall and you can't see the walls very well right now all you see is cards and pictures. Please tell all my friends Hi for me and I miss them very much.. I wish I was home right now.

Well today they made my new mask for radiation I have to wear it while I am on the table and they strap me down so I can't move at all it's very important so I don't get radiation other places. Mom rushed me to the hospital again she gets very scared when I do anything that might be different. I am starting to have a little problem swallowing again but the Dr.'s expected this to happen. I am ok. Mom just panics.

LOVE EVERYBODY
DANIELLE

  1. Hey Danielle, it looks like there's a lot going on this week huh? Wow, things move so quickly there. But with you being taken care of by the best, I guess they just know exactly what they're going and they just get after it!!!! Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you and praying for you. Remember your Mom's bracelet - Jesus will carry you through this and before you know it, you'll be finished with your treatment. One day at a time!!! Have fun this weekend with everyone! Everyone in my house says HI!!!! Casey wants to know if you've seen any new movies lately?

    We love you!!!!
Aunt Lisa and Uncle Todd and all the kids!

  3. You sure are being a brave girl!! You are amazing and an inspiration to us all Danielle! Aunt Lisa is right, Jesus will carry you through this and it will be over before you know it. That mask sounds a little uncomfortable but just remember its going to make you all better and kick that tumor to where it belongs...nowhere in your body. We all love and miss you. Stay bright!!!

  4. Hi Danielle. It's good to hear that you'll start your treatment soon -- the sooner you start the sooner it is over!! When you have that mask on, just close your eyes and imagine that you are back home, playing with Scooby and your friends. And before you know it, you will be! We are thinking of you every day and sending you love and lots of positive energy. You are VERY brave and we're so proud of you. Hugs from JC and me and big wet slurpy dog kisses from Gunny and Baco.

  5. Danielle,
I'm sorry if I got you worried. I was just trying to make you laugh (apparently, I made Ms. Jackie laugh!) We are making a video right now to send you from our last Mass as well as personal comments and poem recitations from your classmates. I apologize if the screen is a little shaky, but I was often laughing so hard, that I could not keep the camera still! when I went to mail your package to you, I had my mailing address label ready. The lady behind the counter said, "Oh, I know, it's room 206." It's nice to know that so many people are thinking about you on a regular basis. We pray for you daily, and if for some reason I forget, I have 24 students who remind me how important our prayers are! I want you to highlight a date on your calendar. April 8, 2009 will be an extra special day for you and for all who know you. That's all I will say for now, but just know that it will be a remarkable day! Please keep updating your blog site. I get at least 10 requests a day from our class to visit your site when they finish their work.....We all love you sooooo much! I've tried leaving messages for your mom, but I guess many people are trying to get in touch with her lately. Just know that no one has or will forget about you, and you are always first in our minds and prayers. I hope you enjoyed your class' picture holding the poster. Let me tell you, that was hard to keep everyone still...especially Rhett and Tyler! Ashlee and Amielle and all your friends miss you a lot. I'm sorry that I am carrying on so long. I will speak to you soon.
    I love you,
    Ms. Theresa

  6. O.K.
It's me again! I am sending your school work to your teacher this week. There is a flower pattern and a stem that I would love for you to decorate and send back to me. We decorated the hallway for Spring, and everyone has a flower displayed. It would make me so happy for you to color the flower and send it back. If it's not possible, don't worry about it. I will make the prettiest flower and put it in your spot in the hall!
    Bye again!
    Ms. Theresa

  8. Just a little poem to bring up your spirits.

    My Child You're Not Alone
At times like these it's hard to find the right words to say,
And I know that words alone won't take the pain away.
But, I know a man who sits high, and looks low,
And He is saying, "My child, you're not alone."
He is saying, "I love you and I am concerned about you,
And all the pain and hurt that you are going through."
He is saying, "Lean on me, I will be your comfort through this time.
And although it’s dark now, the sun again will shine."

Even though it’s hard to see through tears that you now cry,
Just know that there will come a day when your tears, He will dry.
And though words alone won’t ease the pain that you now feel,
Just know that in time, your heart, He will heal.

I pray that God will give you peace, and strength in your heart
As He holds you in His arms, and from you, He won’t depart.
May you always be encouraged, may you ever hold on.
And remember, "My child, you're not alone."
