Thursday 3/12/09

Well today was a good day. My apt. with the Dr.'s went great. It could have been worse. But thanks to all the prayers from family, friends, and prayer groups, churches, Father Manny, and the list goes on and on and on. Dr. Boop and Dr. Vivvian, Dr.Gajjar, told me it's a slow growing, low grade tumor. It has not spread to any other parts of my body and my spine looks clear. We will start radiation ASAP and hope to make it smaller. If needed in time we will have to do alittle cemo., but for now it looks like radiation will be enough. The Doctor says this type of tumor does not spread but can grow to be larger. If that was to happen that would not be good, so we must try to make it smaller or even go away if possible. I will be here for 6 to 7 more weeks maybe longer depending on the treatments and the outcomes. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ME AND ALL THE OTHER CHILDREN AT ST.JUDES WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. WE ALL HAVE SO MUCH HOPE AND THAT CAN GO A LONG WAY HERE.     Danielle!! That's great news. I know that you and your Mom and Dad are a little relieved to know what it is. The prayers will keep coming and it won't be long before you are back home with your family and friends. We are going to have to have a big party when you get back.     dear danielle i try to keep up with what is going on.its hard not having a computer.hope tou are feeling ok,i am at the libary in castroville,texas.i havent talked to katietoday to find out what the biosepy results were.i hope you and your mom are doing the best you can at this time.i say a prayer for you every day.take care iwill talk to you another day love jim

    That is AWESOME news, we are still praying for you and I have my prayer group at church still praying for you, mom and dad.     Hey Danielle! Well, only a few more days until Aunt Fuzzy, Mom and I get to come and see you!!!! I can't wait! We're bringing so many hugs and kisses with us that, as Pop would say, we're going to need a U-HAUL-IT to bring them! Oh yea, we can't forget your cookies -- oozing with chocolate chips! Do you know if there is a good Mexican restaurant in Memphis? We could go grab some food Friday night, but no Marguaritas for you missy! Can you tell I'm hungry right now?
