First e month check-up

Well we are on our way to Memphis for our first real check-up. I know this time it our turn to hear good news. First we stop in New Orleans to go to the Cathedral to light 15 candles. We always light 15 it's Danielle's lucky number. We start IV's Sunday Night and start MRI'S Monday morning at 6:30 am. We will be on new machines this time they say it's a more precise machine and takes smaller cuts. I will let everybody know updates as we go.

SUMMER FUN

I have had a wonderful summer and neglected my blog. I am fine several little problems but nothing major. OCTOBER 4TH DON'T FORGET 12 BANDS AND SILENT AUCTION DANIELLE'S RHYTHM AND BLUES FUNDRAISER FOR SAINT JUDE'S, FLYERS WILL BE SENT OUT SOON MARK YOUR CALENDARS. I HAVE PICTURES TO POST BUT MOM WILL HAVE TO HELP RETURNING THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER TO HAVE MORE TEST DONE AND TO SEE HOW I AM DOING.

Friday

Today will be my last treatment then I have some dental work and I get to go home. Very excited to see all my family and friends. Things are going great and my Dr.'s say I look great and they will see me in 5 weeks. Only two small bold spots and hide with hair the Target House loved all the hats my school sent thank you'll for this kind gesture. Hats are very handy over here during the summer and winter. Will put pictures in soon, soon, talk to you'll later

TUESDAY

Hi Everybody,


Things are really looking good over here. I feel great and look great. I have only 3 treatments left and one week of dental work then I get to go home just in time for graduation. I was able to watch everybody sing in church the other day it made me so happy mom cried she always cries. I also received the picture of the class wearing St,Jude t-shirts you'll looked great. Thank you Ms. Kay for all the singing and everybody for praying I know it;s working because the doctor told me things could have been bad or good and things are going better than good things are great. I have only two bold spots but my hair covers the spots up well a few problems but thinking about what I have I am GREAT. i WILL TYPE MORE LATER AND PUT PICTURES OF THE HOSPITAL.

SUNDAY

I have had a great Birthday and we had Lot's of games. My best friend Amielle and her grand-mother drove over for the weekend. Thank You!! My grandmother, Aunt Katie and Uncle Brent, Nannie and Tony. I also invited my St.Jude friends over for the party.

Thank You Uncle Travis for the gift, Aunt Susan, Reagan and Fly. Kristin and Matt, for the gifts and cards.

Thank You Brownie troop 2192 that was very kind of you'll to send over the gifts.

Thank You Samie Joe and Grace for the Edible Arrangement I was so surprised and excited it was great.

Thank you Mr.John Ortego & Associates for the gift card and other gifts it was very kind of you to take the time to put my initial on everything you sent me.

THANK YOU BRADEN YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO ME I LOVED THE BUBBLE MACHINE AND GIFTS.

HATS, HATS, AND MORE HATS, THEY ARE GREAT I KNOW ST.JUDE KIDS WILL LOVE TO WEAR THEM.

Thank You Everybody for all the gift they were wonderful , but I miss everybody very much and can't wait to see everybody. I have 10 more treatments left and a week of dental then I think I will be able to go home.

Hi everybody I am posting new pictures before my Birthday I have lots of new ones and many friends. As you can see the picture in the middle shows my cut is almost gone, but the one on the bottom was about 2 weeks after my biopsy but it was looking great to that was just the part on my neck and it went up into my hair not very pretty.

MONDAY

WE HAVE HAD SOME WONDERFUL COMPANY THE LAST WEEK AND THANK YOU'LL FOR TAKING THE TIME TO COME ALL THE WAY TO MEMPHIS. DANIELLE HAD SO MUCH FUN PLAYING WITH ASHLEY AND EMILY, ALLEY (COUSIN) AND CLAIRE.

** THANK YOU CHRIS FOREMAN AND FAMILY FOR THE SURPRISE VISIT AND GIFT. I WISH WE COULD HAVE MET IN PERSON MAYBE ONE DAY.

MRI went well today, but the IV and blood work was another story mom went crazy on the nurses. It was very hard to find a vein, so after the third try mom stopped everything for the day. But things got better and numbing cream was used and things went on as usual. Life at St.Jude's goes on will type tomorrow.
